Laurie Geltman with Daniel Kellar House Concert(Violin)

 — (EDT, UTC-04) — (EDT, UTC-04)

Gail Erdos "Rec-Room"/Backyard Concerts, (Exact address given after purchase), Belmont, MA

On the afternoon of Sunday, July 27th, I'll be performing at the home of my long-time friend and Boston music aficionado Gail Erdos, in Belmont, MA.

Joining me will be my former Laurie Geltman Band bandmates Daniel Kellar (violin/bg vox) and so happy to have Woody Giessmann joining us again on percussion/bg vox. In the 90s & early 2000's, along with bassist Brian Karp, we were a 4-piece rock band; Woody played drums and I played electric, but this will be a stripped down acoustic show.

Weather permitting the show will be held outdoors in Gail's backyard patio area. In case of rain we'll have the show indoors in the "RecRoom". The event will go from 4-7pm. Only 30 seats available. Get your tickets now!

The day of show, guests may arrive at 4pm for a little pre-show social gathering. The show itself will start at 4:30pm. The concert will be divided into two sets giving people the opportunity to move around, refresh their drinks, and mingle a bit in between. The show will end around 7pm.

IMPORTANT! Gail will provide snacks, but guests are asked to bring their own beverage of choice. Due to food allergies, guests are NOT ALLOWED TO BRING THEIR OWN FOOD to the event (thank you!) Space for show is limited to 30 guests, so please order your tickets as soon as you can.

It's going to be a great afternoon. I may have some special guests depending on my wrangling skills. This will be my last gig in town for a while so hope to see you there!

Happy Summer, Laurie G

Laurie Geltman and Daniel Kellar (Violin)

 — (EDT, UTC-04) — (EDT, UTC-04)

Village Social Club at The Garrison House, 6 Harvard Square, Brookline Village

LA-based rock singer-songwriter Laurie Geltman returns to her old stomping ground with violinist Daniel Kellar. Together in bands or as a duo, the Boston Music Award-winning Geltman and Kellar were mainstays on the New England music scene for many years—Kellar is still an in-demand player with such acts as Tarbox Ramblers, Mike Verge and many others—while Geltman, who had stopped playing live for many years due to illness, has come back swinging with a batch of songs slated for her next album. They have done it all from hushed coffee houses to raucous rock clubs, The Hatch Shell, outdoor festivals, Leader Bank Pavilion (Harbor Lights), from the BCN Rumble to Lilith Fair at "Great Woods" and around the country on tours, this reunion will be special as they explore their well-known musical chemistry on both her older albums Departure, No Power Steering, Motion Pictures and Up From Down (under LAYNE), but also on the new material Geltman has been releasing on digital platforms the past few years. The venue may be new to them, but playing side by side with Kellar in Boston will feel like coming home.

Backyard Benefit Concert for OC Foodbank

 — (PDT, UTC-07) — (PDT, UTC-07)

Downtown Anaheim, 92805

Bobbo Byrnes knows I need to get my butt out there and start playing again (and remember how my songs go) so I'm doing a set at his annual Mother's Day Weekend show in Anaheim. It's a benefit for the OC Foodbank (on Saturday though so you can still be with Mom.)

Bobbo and his wife Tracy are hosting their annual Mother's Day weekend concert for the OC Foodbank this year Sat. May 10th. My set will be about 4pm and I'll be helped out on a few tunes by Bobbo (mandolin, accordion) & his talented wife Tracy (bass, vocals). Show starts at 3 pm and goes to about 7 pm.
The artists are:: Ron Hall (https://ronhallmusic.com/) Laurie Geltman ( https://lauriegeltman.com/ ) The Fallen Stars (www.thefallenstars.com) From Bobbo: "The show will be in our backyard. I'm not about to put our address online like this but if you'd like to come, just message me and I will share the address. We'll have food and drinks and the grill going. If you want to cook something special, bring it along and the same goes for your beverage of choice. Thanks!"

As far as the benefit part - I will be collecting foodstuffs and money to donate. Cash, Venmo, Paypal, Zelle will all work and as far as foodstuffs - they suggest pasta, cereal, rice, canned goods, peanut butter. Money is always best for them because they can make four meals for a dollar. -Bobbo.

P.S. You can message me under Contact. and I'll give you the address.
